PWT I-joists are finely tuned building components utilizing the highest quality materials and latest technology to create predictable and reliable structural members. Top and bottom flanges are made from PWT's own durable Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) or finger-jointed, machine stress rated (MSR) lumber. All flange components are tested using a battery of machine grading technologies.

PWT I-joists are more stable than dimensional lumber and more versatile than open web floor trusses. Long lengths, and the ability to trim in the field, allow for fast and easy installation. Our wide flange widths decrease subfloor deflection and create a stiffer floor overall.
